Legal Profile
Mr. Usman's legal foundation was established at the University of Benin, where he earned both a Bachelors of Law (LL.B) in 2011 and a Masters in Law (LL.M) in 2015. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 2012. His legal expertise is further enhanced by specialized training in negotiation and justice, including a certificate course in Alternative Dispute Resolution and the Best Dplomat, a United Nations Certified Dispute Resolution Training, which he completed in London, UK, in 2024.
His professional roles include:
Senior State Council: Serving with the Edo State Government's Ministry of Justice since 2015.
Legal Practitioner: Working with A Vincent Solicitors in London since March 2018.
Secretary: Serving as Secretary for the Law Officers Association of Nigeria (LOAN), Edo State Chapter, since 2017.


Leadership & Published Works
Mr. Usman has demonstrated an enduring passion for public service, advocacy, and faith-based leadership, which has been recognized with multiple awards.
Legal Aid & Advocacy: During his National Youth Service Corp (N.Y.S.C.), he served as the Assistant Secretary General for the Legal Aid Council of Nigeria's Community Development Scheme in Edo State.
Community Leadership: He served as the Pioneer Chairman of the Student Representative Council (2008) and later as the National President (2009) of the National Association of Okpella Student (NAOS). His work earned him an Award of Excellence from NAOS in 2010.


Governance & Legal Scholarship
Mr. Usman's career also reflects a keen interest in the structures of governance and constitutional law. His leadership experience began during his university studies, where he served as Senate President of the Law Student Association (LAWSA) and as a Special Adviser to the Attorney General of the Student Union Government, University of Benin.
His academic and published works focus on critical analyses of Nigerian governance:
